Faculty Training Video

This 20-minute video provides information on what to expect when you teach in the videoconferenced environment of the medical program.

While coming in to the classroom for a training session on the equipment is the best way to become familiarized with the environment and equipment, if you're unable to attend in person, this video will provide you with the information that you need.

Here's what's covered in the video:

  • an expanation of videoconferencing at U of T's medical program
  • lighting, microphones, cameras
  • getting support while teaching
  • student interaction
  • what we require from you

Towards the end of the video, a "quiz" will appear--this is not actually a quiz, but a couple of questions that ask for feedback on the video. You'll also be asked to submit your name; this isn't associated with the feedback, but knowing who has viewed the training video helps us to provide full support to teachers.
